The Best of British
Compiling this issue took months of planning and was completed over four separate shoot dates in both New York and London. Shooting through the night from 8am to 5am the following morning, the models arrived at the studio every 2 hours on the dot, back to back. A team of over 50 photographic, styling, hair, make-up, production and model assistants coordinated the huge operation with military precision. Over 100 rails of clothes, 400 pairs of shoes, metres and metres of weave, hundreds of make-up brushes, 4 studios, flights, cars, endless emails, champagne, canapés, cigarettes, kisses on the cheek and hard work fitted together like a jigsaw. A celebration of women of all ages, these are the models, icons, muses and faces of our generation wearing the most exciting looks of the new season. Never has there been a better reason to… BUY BRITISH.

How boring to always conform.” Lily Cole;
